Great turn out at the Midway Pub for this weeks checkpoint! The staches have sprouted and are competing for prime real estate. I believe we have all the pictures up on the growers grid now so the betting can begin. Lets really start in hard on our fundraising goal of $30,000.00. This is a high bar to set especially in these hard times, but I know our staches are here to inspire, so lets get the message out there “Our Mustaches are Fighting Cancer!”.

Next week we are back at Manuel’s Tavern, Tuesday Nov 25. So show up, flash the stache, drink, eat and be merry with a bunch of stachtastic folks.

The Stache Bash is set for Manuel’s Tavern on Dec 12 Friday at 7:30pm. Its in the big room above the one we usually meet in. Lets pack the house! Everyone is invited, all naked lips will be covered, loaner mustaches provided at the door.

Growers,Manuel’s Tavern was booked for next tuesday, something about the owners nephew, so we are changing venue.Tuesday (11/18/08) we are meeting at The Midway Pub in East Atlanta. The Midway is a sizable sports bar with a large patio, darts, foos ball, video games, a “huge” beer selection, (they will be offering us $3.00 peroni’s and pilsner’s) and they have Trivia starting at 8:00pm-10:00pm. They said their trivia dj will give our cause a shout out and include some good mustache trivia. We have Manuel’s Tavern booked for the remaining check points, so just think of this as a field trip.

Welcome to the 2nd Annual Mustache for Kids Event 2008. Last year sounded and looked like a blast! This year there a few new organizers but we are willing to Grow a Stache for some cash.

Actually some of us have to shave quite a bit off before we start. This year one thing we ask is that you take a before picture like the one below (yes cheesey picture but hopefully you get the point). Either hold on to them or email them to me for safe keeping until I can start assembling them online.
