The 2011 Growing Season Begins November 3, 2011
I’m pleased to announce Mustaches for Kids 2011 is a mere 2 weeks
away.
I hope you’ve enjoyed these past 12 months of upper lip nudism. But,
the time has come to rally your families, friends, co-workers,
Facebook acquaintances to pony up the cash to support your valiant
efforts to grow the greatest mustache in history.
The season will kick off with Clean Shave Day on November 3, 7:30 p.m.
at Manuel’s Tavern.
Make sure you come clean faced, photo ready and thirsty.
If you can’t make Clean Shave Day or any weekly check in, don’t fret.
You can send a photo of your stache, with a newspaper clearly showing
the date, to info@atlantamustache.com.

We raised $12,394.00 for CURE Childhood Cancer!
Excellent work everyone!
Big thanks to all the growers who participated, friends and family who donated and supported the growers and everyone else we encountered along the way.
2010 was a great success and we owe it all to YOU!
Thanks and Happy New Year!
UPDATE 2/8/11 : Mark Watkins took some awesome pictures at the stache bash. Check them out here.
King Stache 2010
The Stache Bash was a great success Friday night! Thanks to all who came to support our final fundraiser, we collected a lot of cash that night. As soon as we tally everything up, we’ll post the 2010 fundraising total.
The King is Dead. Long Live the King! Two time winner Robert Watkins was unseated this year despite the Mark Spitz costume featuring an authentic American flag speedo. J.P. Leonard, aka Ringo Starr, is your Mustaches for Kids King of 2010. Other notables included John Oates (with an appearance by Darryl Hall), Inspector Clouseau (two), Freddie Mercury, Robert Goulet, The Monopoly Guy, Albert Einstein, Ramathorn from SuperTroopers (an excellent dancer) and more. We’ll put some more pics here or on Facebook.
Thanks to Manuel’s Tavern for hosting the party again this year. Big ups to The Falcon Lords who rocked it out. Go check out that band at a proper club. You won’t be disappointed.
Check back for pics and final donation tally.
