Mustache Musings - November 14, 2007.

Well, Clean Shaven Day was an unqualified success.  Attendance was extremely strong, and much beer was consumed.  There was also fellowship.  For example, we learned that our group includes an entire honkytonk band, the Danny Family, and we are talking to Manuels about getting them onstage to provide soundtrack for the Stache Bash and Mustache Revue in December.  I overheard them whispering in the corner about mustache-themed covers, so I can tell these guys are for real.

In reflecting on some of the conversations with growers last night, several additional “Profiles in Courage” have occurred to me.  Perhaps throughout the growing season I will from time to time share an additional inspirational story or two about members of the growing team.  God, I admire you guys.

Finally, I would recommend one thing to the group as precaution against losing valuable growth this week: MOVE YOUR RAZOR.  If you’re like me, you are very sleepy and perhaps hungover when you are shaving each morning.  In that condition, and especially this week with the change in routine, it will be easy to forget and cut the valuable timber you are trying to raise.  So change your shaving routine RIGHT NOW, to keep yourself on high alert against a tragic slip up.  I don’t want to hear any sad stories of unintentional mustache mutilation.

Till next week, happy growing.

Stache-cerely,

Bernie
