Welcome, ladies and gentlemen. You have reached the homepage of the Atlanta Chapter of Mustaches for Kids. We hope that what you see here will inspire you. Or at least make you mildly interested in what could make a group of otherwise unremarkable guys grow unattractive facial hair, in unison, during the busiest party season of the year.

It’s simple, friends. It’s for the kids.

The gist is that from roughly Thanksgiving to Christmas, we will grow thick, luxuriant mustaches. Because what we are doing is difficult - and because it is righteous - our friends, family, co-workers, and acquaintances will contribute money on our behalf to a fantastic Atlanta charity, CURE Childhood Cancer. We will use powers of persuasion, peer pressure, heavy applications of guilt, and general supplication to wring every possible penny out of them for charity.

Once our staches start filling in, they will sell themselves. Our mustaches will literally fight childhood cancer. And they will sweep the foam safely off the surface of our beers while they are doing it.

Yours can too.

We are amateur growers. None of us do this for a living. We are committed to running a clean campaign. Aside from one tin each of a clear paste made from flaxseed oil, we will rely only upon pure innate machismo as growing fuel. If you believe a mustache might harm your career or your relationship with your significant other, you might make a great sponsor. Otherwise, brother, stick it to childhood cancer and feel the thrill of growing a sweet, sweet stache.

We’ve chosen our inaugural charity to support — the extremely worthy, Atlanta-based CURE Childhood Cancer. Official propaganda is in the works (business cards, flyers, etc.). And we’ve been watching Magnum P.I. for spiritual guidance. All in all, a good start! Check back frequently for campaign updates, breaking mustache-related news, and possibly some grooming tips.

We are currently recruiting growers and sponsors to join our ranks. Contact me at stachemaster@atlantamustache.com if you are inspired, or if you need additional information.
